National Night Out Against Crime is designed for neighbors within communities to come together and meet law enforcement professionals that protect and serve their communities. These initiatives are geared to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for each other, encourage participation in anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood collaborations and send a message to criminals letting them know law enforcement and the community stand “united” in efforts to fight crime and rid neighborhood of issues that plague them.
